A review after the second visit. After the first it would have been 3 stars. After the second one is actually too much. On the first visit, I decided for the Wiener Schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad. The fried potatoes were great, the schnitzel went so, a bit tough, the salad dripping with oil and was not eaten for this reason. On the second visit, I decided on the Zwiebelrostbraten. Again with fried potatoes and salad, this time under the note to take a little less oil. The onion roast medium was ordered, with the hint, rather medium rare than to go through. As soon as you saw the steak you could see that the steak was cooked through. So I handed it back and showed the waitress, who by the way is very friendly and nice, also that the steak was cooked through. After a few minutes, the waitress called me and showed me the steak I had returned, saying that only the bleed had been cooked. Of course, I was sorry and I said, that I should put that back on the plate, because that's how I wanted my steak yes. No no. That will not do. I get a new one now. What can I say. The new one was as devastated and dead as I've ever got a steak. Who has fried and is a chef, has clearly chosen the wrong profession. It should also be mentioned that at this time I was the only guest there whose food had to be prepared.

An absolute insider tip! We landed here by accident and will visit the inn more often in the future. The menu is not small. There are u.a. Tasty home-style cooking (such as onion roast beef, cordon bleu) and tasty beer, all at a sensational value for money. Nice beer garden in the summer and very friendly service. Absolutely recommended, even for a short detour from the highway to satisfy hunger.

As the predecessors have already described, it is probably the worst place in Deggendorf. Very unfriendly staff, schnitzel and roast pork not edible. Once and never again. 1 star is already one too many

Goods a week ago at lunch. 2x roast pork. Both roasts were not special. Crust excellent, sauerkraut strange taste was also warmed up in the microwave. Dumplings .......... could not find out if the dumplings were homemade :-( We both had diarrhea 1-2 hours later. Not recommendable!
